Forgiving and loving.

I love that part of the story of the Prodigal son that shows God, as not a hard God, but full of compassion and ready to forgive. God had compassion on us, and first loved us. Making a way for us to enter into salvation through Jesus Christ.

Luke 15:20
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Psalm 86:5
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

See!? Our God is a wonderful Father who is full of patience for our mess ups, ready to forgive and for us to return to fellowship with Him.
